RJ LUCE
RJ Luce was raised on a farm in Nebraska, attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and received a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University. He worked for twenty-eight years as a wildlife biologist for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
RJ retired to a small property in Cochise County, Arizona, a few miles from the infamous wild west town of Tombstone, to write mystery novels and pursue nature photography. He has traveled the world from his base along the San Pedro River, including Africa, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe. He backpacked the 820-mile Arizona Trail, the Grand Enchantment Trail in Arizona and New Mexico, and the southern portion of the Continental Divide Trail in New Mexico, and contributed photos to the Arizona Trail Guide…
